Workshop on 'Learning To Deal With Changes'
Evie Applebee, founder and president of the Golda Meir (Chomedey) Chapter of Montreal Hadassah-WIZO announces with great excitement the visit of Ray Barry, who will speak at the group's opening meeting of the 2007-2008 season, to be held Wednesday, September 5, at Jacob Josef Chevra-Mishnais Synagogue, 715 du Sablon, in Chomedey.
Mr. Barry, a motivational speaker, personal growth trainer and entertainer, considers himself an evolved man who encourages others to expand personal awareness and re-invent themselves as they face major life transitions.
An eclectic and broadly educated individual who holds degrees in applied mathematics and is certified as a public accountant and project manager, he is also a graduate of Dale Carnegie and has assisted with their Human relations course.
Widely-traveled, Mr. Barry has worked with and trained people on four continents. He has coached and led seminars in interpersonal communication, meeting facilitation, corporate culture and being a team player, presentation development and delivery, relationships, walking a spiritual path and dealing with change.

Mr. Barry's workshop at Golda Meir will focus on the best-selling book 'Who Moved My Cheese', by Spencer Johnson, MD. "Both the book and the workshop offer invaluable wisdom, priceless insight, and practical suggestions for learning to deal with change," says Mrs. Applebee, adding that this is "a wonderful way to launch our new season of many exciting programs and events."
This meeting of Golda Meir Hadassah-WIZO is open to guests by reservation only. The business part of the meeting starts at 12:30 pm. Mr. Barry's workshop begins at 1:30 pm. Refreshments will be served. More information available at (450) 681-9342.
