I most vividly remember my teacher and I remember also that I didn't want to let go of my precious school bag.

From all my wonderful memories of school, each of the first days back each year has a very special place in my heart. I remember each of those days as times when I experienced great excitement and profound pride.

I always loved going back to school and had a fondness for the month of September, something I feel even today. What I appreciated about going back to school each year was meeting up with my friends, and finding out about new teachers, new classes and new activities but above all, it was the discovery of new books to read, explore and learn from.
