Over the last couple of years, the educational environment has changed dramatically with regards to our children’s safety, health and curriculums. Now more than ever, it is imperative we have a voice that reflects these concerns in our school board. As commissioner, I will ensure the highest quality education in our school system. I plan to encourage the continuing development of after school programs aimed at enhancing the overall well-being of our children. Additionally, emphasis will be placed on a strong curriculum, at both the primary and secondary levels, that will equip students with the necessary tools required to succeed in their future endeavors. It is important that our school system plays a leadership role in adult education and develops our children into strong individuals that will lead our society of tomorrow. I, Michael Arfanis, will raise the issues that matter most to you.
