The new format - readers write:
Thank you for your Remembrance coverage in the Courrier Laval. It was greatly appreciated, by all. I heard all about it and read it on the internet.

We really like the new format. We now have a newspaper that reflects so much more of the best that the three communities have to offer – French/English/Allophone. The expanded space is very much appreciated. I am very pleased to be able to read news and views in both languages, and I am so proud of the respect that you've shown for the English of Laval. Keep us informed. Congratulations and best wishes for future success. You truly deserve it.
- Riva Weigenberg, Chomedey
Congratulations for an excellent idea in combining French and English news into a bilingual edition. We are very pleased with the presentation and content.

Congratulations on the bilingual issue of the Courrier de Laval. This newspaper will fit in well with Laval's multicultural population.
- Josée Pepin, founder and CEO of North Star Academy
I have just finished reading the first bilingual edition of Courrier Laval from cover to cover and I'm truly impressed with the quality of the content and the variety of the news covered in both French and English. It's a wonderful idea whose time was past due and I am very happy that we finally have a publication that reflects the many aspects of the city of Laval. I also like and appreciate some of the differences between the French and English sections because they reflect very positively on some of the concerns which are closer to the interests and lives of both French and English readers respectively. Thank you for this new source of information which I'm sure will please all readers, regardless of the language they speak. Un gros merci au Courrier Laval!
- Lydia Nouneh, founder and executive director, Centre D'Integration Sociale et Professionelle de Laval (CISEP)
The new bilingual edition of Courrier Laval is a great idea. Although we loved the earlier versions of Courrier Laval English Edition and Courrier Laval Weekly News, the bilingual edition is a vast improvement because it has so much more content and the presence of both French and English doesn't hurt either. We are looking forward to future issues with great anticipation.
Congratulations and best wishes.

Congratulations to the Courrier Laval ~ your bilingual edition now reflects the personality of the City of Laval. Strength comes from unity ~ and bliss comes from mutual respect and understanding. It's a sign of the times that the two languages shall now merge happily into one meeting place. Felicitations ! A job very, very well done.
- Elizabeth Hoadley, founder and director of Mini-Masters Fine Arts Program
To the editor of Courrier Laval Bilingual Edition: What a pleasant surprise to see such substantial change for the better in a newspaper that we already liked. Now, there's even more to like in the enlarged version that gives readers more news and more coverage of the community activities that are a big part of the city of Laval. And oh, yes, we love the bigger pictures too.
