Big enough for you? Careful, you might fall in. Ville de Laval road crews were kept busy with lots of work repairing roadbeds damaged by the so-far hard winter conditions and heavy snow-removal operations. Work still remains to be done on many pot-holes that proliferate all over Laval island. Motorists Beware!

It’s pot-hole time again
Drive carefully, proceed at your own risk
(N.V.) Although recent mild weather gave city road workers a window of opportunity to conduct repairs on damaged roadbeds all over the island of Laval, motorists should keep in mind that they should still proceed with great caution as many pot-holes still abound all over the city.
And if you suffer damage to tires or suspension systems there is no legal recourse for restitution since municipalities are not held responsible for damages resulting from road conditions, whatever the situation.
The municipalities are protected from liability of this sort by the provincial law on cities and towns.
