Have you lived in Laval less than five years and need to learn or improve your French for a better job or advancement in your present work? The Centre d'intégration sociale et professionelle de Laval (CISEP) offers a course just for your needs, subsidized by Quebec's Ministry of Immigration and Cultural Communities. After its successful Nov. 21 Matinee at the Leanore & Alvin Segal Theatre for the Performing Arts, at a performance of 'An Eneny of the People', the Chomedey Cummings Centre for 50+ will be returning to the theatre on Wed. May 14, when members and friends are invited to laugh and cry at the antics of Felix and Oscar in The Odd Couple. Limited spaces still available, so please reserve as soon as possible. As well, For the Love of Reading will take place on Mon. Jan. 28th at 7:00 p.m. The book to be discussed is “My Sister’s Keeper” by Jodi Picoult.
