First Green Bay, then New England
Laval football fans at Patriots game
In the fall, they went to Green Bay to watch the Packers lose to the Chicago Bears, but in the process they lived a lifelong dream to watch an NFL live and meet the great Brett Favre. Last week, the same gang went to Foxboro, Massachusetts, to give their support to their beloved Patriots as Tom Brady and the boys chalked up another win, their 18th without a loss, on their way to the Super Bowl February 3, knocking off a valiant San Diego Chargers team 21-12. Pictured are Courrier Laval Sports Editor Sylvain Lamarre and Richard Carpentier of the Laval Firefighters Association, who were in the company of several dozen people from Laval at the game. The picture was taken by Courrier Laval photographer Martin Alarie who accompanied the group to Foxboro. Are the boys on their way to Arizona for the Patriots-Giants Super Bowl next Sunday? Certainly in spirit, if not in body.
