Desperately sought by relatives

Michelle Primeau, 39, has now been missing for over a month. According to relatives, this was not the first time the woman had gone missing.

"In the past, there were some other occasions when she disappeared without leaving a trace," recounts her mother, Ghyslaine Primeau, "But she would only be gone a few days, and she always came home."

"I can't see where she could have gone to in the past month," says the missing woman's mother. "She left with only the clothes she was wearing that day. She had recently confided in me that she was fed up with the life she was leading and that she would never be able to come out of it. She was very depressed."

According to Laval Police spokesperson Franco Di Genova, several searches as to her whereabouts have been undertaken, but all to no avail. "We've contacted some of her friends, all of who say they've had no contact with her in a long time," he explains.

"Neighbourhood drug addicts have also been questioned, and those that knew her have had nothing to tell us," he adds.

Michelle Primeau is Caucasian, measures 1.61 metres in height, weighs 46 kg, has brown eyes and brown hair, speaks French and is missing some teeth. When she went missing, she was wearing blue jeans, a pink and red coat and black boots.

"I would ask that anyone who has any information call the police or myself," says Ghyslaine Primeau. "Dead or alive, I want to know where she is. She's a human being like the rest and she needs her family's help."
