The <@Ri> Comité de la Fête nationale informs all public and para-public organizations, church councils, and all non-profit groups that application forms are now available within the framework of the Financial Assistance Program with respect to activities organized for the Fête nationale.
The program, funded by the Minstry of Education, Leisure and Sport (MELS), aims to promote the planning and implementation of activities and projects that celebrate Quebec in a positive way, and which encourage Quebecers to take part in the annual Fête nationale revolving around the June 24 Saint-Jean-Baptiste provincial holiday.
Groups wishing to apply for financial assistance have until Friday, April 4, to submit their applications for financial assistance for projects they would like to organize for the 2008 edition.
For information and registration: Elise Rompré, Comité de la Fête nationale (514) 849-2560, extension 251 or at fquartier@cfn.org. The application form is also available on the MELS Internet site –
