For the children
I would like to share with your readers the honour I enjoyed in attending the recent Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation Canada Pajama Matinee, which was held at the Novotel Hotel at Pierre Trudeau Airport.
There were more than 250 guests at this grand event whose focus was the needs and wishes of sick children. There was face painting, T-Shirt making and many more activities organized by the Foundation, to bring a little sunshine into the lives of children with serious illnesses, and help their families deal with the challenges of their situation.
Everyone had a great time among friends. The hotel organized a wonderful buffet. The kids had a blast getting their faces painted and receiving gifts.
Together, as a team, we put a smile on the faces of these special children. I feel privileged to be part of the Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation and enjoy making a contribution to the monthly activities that are organized for sick children. It is so amazing to see the young ones smile when they see me. Their courage has made me grateful for the precious moments they have allowed me to share with them. The time spent with them has deeply enriched my spirit, and I look forward to continuing to contribute in my own small way to the foundation's work with seriously ill children.
