Thirtieth Blue and Gold Revue coming to Laurier Senior High School
Annual variety show will light up school stage April 3, 4, and 5
"It's that time of year again," says Ralph Di Iorio, of Laurier Senior High School's upcoming 29th edition of a production that first saw the light of day in 1979, when the school was then known as Laval Catholic High School.
In preparation for the past several months, the show will once gain feature the many and varied talents of over 100 students who will write, choreograph, stage, produce, promote, and perform in front of what traditionally are sold-out audiences of families and friends, not to mention members of the community-at-large who have come to anticipate this annual presentation of English-language comedy and music, spiced up with some exuberant dancing that only energetic teenagers can deliver.
"It's an annual tradition full of song, dance, music and comedy that reflects the commitment to artistic excellence promoted by the Laurier Senior High School community," says senior advisor Ralph Di Iorio, who once again this year will collaborate with other advisors, including Renee St-Germain, in advising and guiding the organizing committee and cast and crew of the 2008 production.
