But nothing keeps undaunted members of the Gevurah Club away from their weekly meeting at Young Israel of Chomedey Synagogue," says the memo from Claire Nudel, coordinator of the Chomedey Chapter of the Chomedey Cummings Centre For 50 +. The ladies and gentlemen of the Gevurah Club of Chomedey, one of the city's longest-serving groups for seniors, meet every Tuesday, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Young Israel of Chomedey Synagogue, 1025 Elizabeth. "We have great fun, with cards, bingo, visiting speakers and of course, delicious refreshments. Sunday classes at the Centre du Sablon, 10:00am - 12:00 noon. Jewish children learn about their heritage and traditions.
