Gevurah Club of Chomedey's Cummings Centre For 50 +
The ladies and gentlemen of the Gevurah Club of Chomedey, one of the city's longest-serving group for seniors, meet every Tuesday, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Young Israel of Chomedey Synagogue, 1025 Elizabeth. "We have great fun, with cards, bingo, visiting speakers and of course, delicious refreshments. Tuesday mornings. A new Beginners Class starts at 9:00 followed by the regular class at 10:00 to 11:30. Torah Academy of Laval
Sunday classes at the Centre du Sablon, 10:00am - 12:00 noon. Jewish children learn about their heritage and traditions. On different age-appropriate levels, the children learn to read and write Hebrew, enjoy arts and crafts and many other activities too numerous to mention.
