Great fun, with cards, bingo, visiting speakers and delicious refreshments. Mr. Boxenbaum's name and voice have become anticipated features of almost every national media article (broadcast and print) when the issue is gambling. Also devotes much of his time to participating in and publicizing fund raising events for the public good. Host of Last Call with Sol, Montreal's only live local overnight program aired weekdays from 3:00 am to 5:00 am on CJAD Am Radio 800. Meeting starts at 12:30 pm, guest speaker at 1:30 pm. Laval Volunteer Centre @A2:8th annual golf tournament (June 4th) fundraiser. Urgent need for volunteers to solicit donors. If you have sales experience and are comfortable on the phone, your time would be appreciated. The Canadian Foundation for Inflammatory Diseases and Les Aliments M & M are also looking for volunteers to help at a BBQ day. Volunteers also needed at Mondial Choral 2008, at admission locations and to provide security at the Fireworks Display and other activities. Torah Academy of Laval @A2:Sunday classes at the Centre du Sablon, 10:00 am - 12:00 noon. Jewish children learn about their heritage and traditions.
