It's party time as Pop Rock's Creature comes to Laval
The three permanent joyful fools of the Creature rock group invade Laval this coming week, bringing along their pop rock talent that puts fans 'in dancing trances during white nights'.
The title of the first CD put out by the Montrealers says it all: No sleep at all. "We want to bring the party to you with our 11 songs, to make you dance in your short-shorts, and to have these rhythms linger in your head as you dance the night away bouncing on your bed," says keyboard player and singer Cowbella.

From the stage, fans will be treated to the group's golden sequins and multi-coloured attire as the group gives it their all through boundless energy and dynamic choreography. "No one in the group gets bored because we work in total democratic expression. In the studio, everyone composes because we know that when we dance together we come up with a hit," she explains.
The beast
Most of Creature's musicians met in the world of the blues. Singer Kim Ho, who some like to compare to Prince, was the one who brought in Cowbella and drummer Sid Z. At every performance, a fourth joins the trio at bass.
The group took its name from one of their first compositions, created in 2004. "We kept repeating that we had to let loose the wild beast in us. We made up the four legs of the Creature, a blend of pop, hip-hop, dance and rock," notes Cowbella.

Following their stop in Laval, the group will tour Canada and the U.S. for a series of shows, notably taking part in the renowned SXSW (South by South West Interactive Music/Film Festival).
Creature will perform for fans this coming Saturday, May 17, 8:00 pm, at the Le Trac hall (475 de l'Avenir Blvd). Information: (450) 667-2040 or www.scene1425.com
