Editor's Note: Meteorologist Frank Cavallaro, is pictured here with a group of students from Renata Isopo's Journalism class at a recent visit to Laval's Laurier Senior High School. Now at CBC, Mr. Cavallaro, then at CTV, spoke to the young journalists-in- training about "the ins and outs of media", insights he'll once again share with people of Laval at the Chomedey Cummings Centre this coming September. Renata Isopo, Courrier Laval Bilingual Edition's Contributing Editor for Education, is at the far left.

Media and You at Chomedey Cummings Centre
This September, the Chomedey Cummings Centre will present a four-part series of discussions on the media.
The featured participants will be Andrew Carter, CJAD morning man, Tarah Schwartz, CTV reporter and newscaster, Josh Freed, Montreal Gazette columnist, and Frank Cavallaro, CBC weatherman.
This prestigious project is open to all, with a participation fee of $40 for members, $50 for non-members. We invite the community-at-large to join us in what promises to be an exceptionally informative and exciting exploration of the ins and outs of media, especially as related to four of the giants of English Media in the Greater Montreal area (CJAD, CTV, The Montreal Gazette, and CBC).
Please don't hesitate to call us for more information.
