Cast your ballot, it's the democratic way!

Despite national turmoil over failed attempts by Prime Minister Harper to advance his minority Conservative government's new agenda following reelection, a crisis which drew attention away from the issues in the Quebec election, it remains crucial for Quebec voters have their say in who should govern the province. Although this hasn't been a campaign worthy of the voters' focus, there are still substantial reasons for putting an X next to the name of the candidate of your choice, whatever his or her political stripes. So, grin and bear it, sacrifice some time and show up to make sure your vote counts. It's one of the best ways to sustain your rights as a member of a free and open democratic society. Not to vote is an abdication of responsibility. Your voice needs to be heard.
