Events such as these, an end-of-school year BBQ served by Laval Junior High teachers to students as a reward for good overall conduct and behaviour, are financed by fund-raising activities such as the Bowser and Blue Concert.

Laval Junior High School welcomes Bowser and Blue
Dynamic duo brings verbal and musical delights takes to Laval this coming Friday, April 20th
The auditorium of Laval Junior High School of the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board might never be the same after this Friday night, April 20th, following the appearance on stage of the fabled Bowser & Blue comedy team at a concert that only these two acerbic, ironic, and wonderfully witty comedians can deliver. But wait – there's more, much more.
These guys are not just there to make you laugh, they are there to offer insightful, meaningful, thought-provoking, and afflict-the-comfortable and comfort-the afflicted type of edifying entertainment that has earned them a widespread reputation as defenders of the defensible and condemners of the contemptible.
Through their writing, music, singing and joke-telling this dynamic duo has brought many a full house to its feet with stirring renditions of the kinds of 'roasting' of public figures that leaves little to the imagination concerning hypocrisy and disingenuous double-dealing duplicity.
Irrepressibly, Bowser and Blue take on all comers, punching all sorts of holes into the well-laid plans of those public figures whose conduct in the dispensing of their responsibilities as persons of public trust doesn't exactly inspire putting them on a pedestal for all the world to honour. Oh, yes, Bowser and Blue do put these public figures on pedestals but only after they have ensured that there are enough pigeons around to do the honours of reigning (and raining) over them.
But it's all in good wholesome fun, and for a fantastic cause – those worthy and beneficial activities and projects at Laval Junior High School that official budgets can't finance, simply because there is not enough money there to pay for all things needed in the noble effort to educate the whole child, socially, culturally, athletically and academically.
The show starts at 7:30 pm. And although the $30 price of admission might seem a little steep for a junior high school event, keep in mind that you're getting top of the line entertainment for a most worthy cause.
Tickets can be reserved by calling Mrs. Mary Frangiosa at Laval Junion High School at (450) 680-3044, extension 8216. The school, located at 3200 Souvenir Boulevard in Chomedey (just a short walk east of city hall), can also be reached by fax at (450) 688-7486.
