Jewish Women International of Canada (Laval Chapter)
Quite a few Laval residents participated in last year's "Walk in Her Shoes" event sponsored by Jewish Women International of Canada to raise funds to help end violence against women. Tarah Schwartz from CTV news will be this year's honoree of the 9th annual walk-a-thon which will take place on Sunday April 29, 2007 from 9 a.m. until noon at Club Sportif Cote de Liesse, 8305 Cote de Liesse Road. Teams of four (raising a minimum of $360) or individuals (raising minimum of $90) are invited to participate.
