'Taste of Summer' Breakfast for Generations Foundation
At Buffet La Stanza
Would you like to meet Global Television's 'This Morning Live' show and join the Generations Foundation at a Taste of Summer Breakfast whose entire proceeds are allocated to the organization's important food and summer camp programs?
"Join us at the fine La Stanza Buffet and Grill Restaurant this coming Thursday, May 24, 2007 where from 6:00 am to 10:00 am you'll enjoy a delicious breakfast from a delectable 50-item menu, coffee included, for only $10," says Generations founder, director and spokesperson Adrian Bercovici.
And it's all for the best of causes. "All proceeds from this important event will be used to finance urgently needed hot meals for undernourished schoolchildren," explains Mr. Bercovici, a long-time Laval resident whose dedication to community service is legendary. In consort with his wife Natalie, Adrian Bercovici has rendered exemplary community assistance to many causes for several decades.
About Generations Foundation
The Generations Foundations provides nutritious breakfast, hot meals, and snacks to over 6,500 schoolchildren in 61 schools and 11 centers daily, with other important services provided for group homes.
"Generations Foundation," explains Mr. Bercovici, "is a non-profit organization supported by generous private donors who want to invest in the future of our community's children who are at risk. There is no cost to parents for our food services. We do not receive government grants and we are a registered charity since 1999."
Some of the programs sponsored by the foundation include nursing single teens or single mothers who live alone and stay in school, students of parents on a fixed income at several CEGEPS, students who are either intellectually or physically handicapped, disadvantaged students, after-school homework programs, sponsorship of orthodontic treatment for children in group homes, food sponsorship for cooking classes, students who go to school without breakfast, snacks or inadequate lunches, and food baskets for children whose families are in crisis on referral from school professionals, CLSCs and police community officers.

In addition to these services, money raised from private participants (such as you) goes a long way to support other initiatives of the foundation.
Registrations are now underway to sponsor approximately 300 children for a two-week stay in the country at several summer camps approved by the Quebec Camping Association, for the eighth consecutive year. The children are accepted on referral from social workers. These children, says Adrian Bercovici, enjoy swimming, boating, arts and crafts, and sports in the fresh air, learn many skills, meet new friends and have lots of fun.
"Bring you families, friends, and colleagues to the buffet breakfast to support this worthy cause, Come and meet the personalities, enjoy live entertainment, participate in the live televised auction in person (or by telephone at (514) 335-7000," invites Mr. Bercovici.
He adds that if you can't be there in person, watch 'This Morning Live' on Global Quebec from 6:00 to 9:00 am on Thursday, may 24. Donate $50 or more on breakfast morning by calling 514-335-7000 and win a prize.
