Thematic workshops: an invitation
Choral singers and the public in general can learn and benefit from the Mondial Choral adventure at thematic workshops on choral singing. From July 2 to 7, you're invited to discover or deepen your understanding; to push music to its limits.
Offered for free and conducted by professionals, these thematic workshops are an occasion to conquer and demystify the art of choral singing. The content of these workshops is both theoretical and practical, allowing the participants to discover the various musical genres and explore their rhythms and sounds.
"Mondial Choral offers us a stimulating context in which to give participants the tools of learning. For some, it's an opportunity to become better and for others to discover what lies behind music," explains Richard Quinn, director of the 'Tournesol en choeur' group and the person responsible for the workshop on the understanding of the rudiments of music.
These two-hour workshops allow participants to explore the possibilities offered by the world of music. "The participants leave with a good base and it's up to them to continue to work toward the discovery of the geography of music," Mr. Quinn adds.
The workshops are held in the Chapiteau-Théâtre (Main Tent), from 9:30 to 11:30 am.
