Saved from the waters

A teenager escaped with his life this past Wednesday, falling into the quarry behind the Palais de Justice when he lost his footing and fell from the embankment. According to a witness, the lad was seen tossing rocks into the quarry, before falling several meters. Laval firefighters are pictured here rescuing the boy, who was immediately taken to Cité de la Santé Hospital. Although he suffered a little bit of hypothermia, he was nonetheless pronounced in good shape, a rather happy turn of events considering the harm he could have suffered.
