A resident of Laval for 26 years; A proud parent of two graduates of the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board; Someone who is devoted to the education of our youth; A former parent commissioner; Chairman of the SWLSB since 1998; Member of the Regional Heath Board of Laval. Under his leadership SWLSB: Enjoyed the best academic performance of all English school boards in •Quebec, as well as one of the lowest dropout rates; Introduced technology in the classroom through its fiber optic network; Has been instrumental in securing 11 new schools; Continues to see student enrolment grow; Founded the Sir Wilfrid Laurier Foundation which has raised over $230,000 and injected it into its schools and centres.
