Laval Multicultural Library Children's Story Hour
The next edition of the Ellie and Marilyn English Story Hour will be taking place this coming Saturday, December 1, starting at 10:15 am, at its usual venue, the Laval Multicultural Library, 1535 Chomedey Blvd. Embarking on the theme of Winter is Coming, Ellie and Marilyn will once gain strut their fun-filled readings for children ages 3 to 6 (and older siblings who are also welcome). Laval Volunteer Centre
23rd Annual Christmas Baskets Campaign needs volunteers to staff food collection kiosks in grocery stores and gift-wrapping counters in department stores. Three hours a week would help ease the load for the many volunteers now doing more than their share. The Centre also needs a volunteer to coordinate the gift-wrapping counter at Sears in Carrefour Laval. The person's presence would be required a minimum of one day a week, from November 24 to December 24. If you would like to donate food or money, the Volunteer Centre is Located at 1870, Michelin.
