Chomedey Cummings Centre

"An invitation to the community to drop by and check out all the great courses being offered for the winter session," says spokesperson Claire Nudel. Courses that can be previewed for the Winter program are Scrapbooking, Colour Harmony Beading, 3-D Decoupage, Digital Photography, eBay Buying and Selling, Computers, Mah Jong, Bridge, 'Tea and Shmooze' and Yiddish Club.

Holy Name of Jesus Parish Christmas Concert
Want to experience the spirit of Christmas with other like-minded families and friends?

Join others in a celebration of the talent of local members of the community who will entertain you with their singing, dancing, acting and so much more. Laval-Laurentides Youth Orchestra
Laval-Laurentides Youth Orchestra invites you on December 8th 7:30 pm to its Christmas concert at Ste-Rose de Lima church in Laval. To be played: extracts from Star Wars, a violin concerto and a special Christmas Karaoke where you will be invited to participate with your voice. Tickets will be on sale at the door at $15 each. Laval Volunteer Centre
23rd Annual Christmas Baskets Campaign needs volunteers to staff food collection kiosks in grocery stores and gift-wrapping counters in department stores. Three hours a week would help ease the load for the many volunteers now doing more than their share. The Centre also needs a volunteer to coordinate the gift-wrapping counter at Sears in Carrefour Laval. The person's presence would be required a minimum of one day a week, until December 24. Meetings held every Monday: Line-dancing at 9:30 am, Exercise Program at 11:30 am, Coffee and Tea served, but bring your lunch. Tai Chi at 2:00 pm.
