Sharing the joy of Chanukah

The Jewish Community of Laval invites everyone to a Chanukah Family Festival at the Young Israel of Chomedey Synagogue, Sunday, December 9, 2007 on the 6th Night of Chanukah.

The celebration starts at 4:00 pm with music, latkes and doughnuts, followed at 4:30 pm with a magic show by Aythan, a fine entertainer from the Circus Montreal.

The highlight of the afternoon will be the Lighting of the Menorah Ceremony at 5:00 pm.

You are welcome to join dignitaries Laval Mayor Gilles Vaillancourt, Chomedey City Councilor Basile Angelopoulos, Laval- Les Îles MP Raymonde Folco, and Chomedey MNA Guy Ouellette.

Officiating at the Menorah Ceremony will be Honoured Rabbis Zalmen Steifel, David Banon and Moshe Nah.

The community-at-large is invited to join us at Young Israel of Chomedey Synagogue, at 1025 Elizabeth, in Chomedey, for this wonderful celebration.
