Courrier Laval Bilingual Edition: one package, a better idea

After reading and enjoying the first six issues of the new Bilingual Edition of Courrier Laval, I wish to extend my congratulations to everyone connected with its production. It is really wonderful to see how the administrators of Courrier Laval have thought wisely. Placing both English and French versions of the Courrier Laval in one package gives readers a chance to realize what is happening in both communities at the same time and it also communicates news and notices to a broader audience. It also helps that you have increased the circulation to almost 15,000 which means that more Lavallois in more parts of the island can now benefit from the information provided. This is very important to community groups who want to get their message out to as many people as possible throughout the city.

However, I do hope that for people like me, an English-speaker representing a community organization, there will be more opportunities for our events to be reported in both the English and French sections of the Bilingual Edition. It would help our group to reach more people with valuable news about our activities, projects, and programs.

Good luck in giving Courrier Laval long lasting public presence in our great city and in continuing to provide valuable information in both French and English to more people in more communities of Laval.
