Floral Art and children: Meet some happy children who have just discovered with the help of Laura Casagrande, the best way to describe Floral Art – Wow! "It was great fun showing the children this wonderful form of art and, best of all, it was rewarding to see the smiles on their faces after they had learned a new kind of appreciation for flowers." Mrs. Casagrande is pictured standing, at right. Also pictured, standing, are: Saint Vincent School Technician Rosie Caruana and educator Pierina Scalia. Bringing children to the natural beauty of flowers
Laura Casagrande shares love of floral art
And the children said
From the minds, hearts, and souls of some of the children of Saint Vincent's Elementary School with whom Laura Casagrande shared her passion for floral art come – as usual – the basic truths of any learning experience, what they took with them out of their exploration into the beauty of flowers:
"Wow! This really smells good."
"Amazing! This sure makes it feel like Christmas!"
"This is great! This arrangement would sure look good on my mom's table."
"I like this so much, it's going in my room."
