Life is fantastic, near and far

Hi! My name is Ronon Connor Lappel and I was born in Laval on March 16th, 2007, a snowy day. Mama (Jennifer), Dada (Richard), and big brothers Dylan and Matthias are just so entertaining! They make me laugh and giggle, which shows off my two dimples and my six teeth (ouch!) People say that I am big for my age...24 pounds. My days are pretty busy; I enjoy walking around, crawling about, and climbing up stairs. I love my Gramms (Mara), Papa (Lars), Oma (Nora), and Opa (Franz)...they all adore me. Life is fantastic! Hello and a Happy New Year to readers of Courrier Laval Bilingual Edition. My name is Justin C. Jovi. (Yes, Jovi stands for Bon Jovi.) I am five months old. I was born August 8, 2007. My parents are Angela Burrascano and Mario Della Vecchia. My maternal grandparents are Anna Manocchio and Giovanni Burrascano. My paternal grandparents are Franka Zinicola and Carmen Della Vecchia. I even have great grandparents, Margherita Spina and Vittorio Manocchio. I have a great grandfather in Italy and his name is Mariano Zinicola. I look forward to seeing the other babies of 2007. My name is Cali Ella Kornai. I was born June 7, 2007. I live in D.D.O but my Auntie Mera lives in Chomedey and wants to see me in the Courrier Laval. My parents are Elana Cohen & Jeffrey Kornai My grandparents are Molly & Howie Cohen, Arlynn & Maurice Elmaleh, and Stephen Kornai. I would love to be part of the Laval Family Album of 2007. Thank you Ronon, grazie Justin, and merci Cali! Your words of wisdom are an inspiration to us all. We're anxious to see you and many other newborns of 2007 in our Babies of the Year Special Edition coming to nearly 15,000 people in Laval very soon.

Not soon enough, some of you might think, but in the interest of allowing more 'stragglers' to get serious and send us the great news about their newborns of 2007, we will be accepting pictures and information until Tuesday, January 29, 2008. Which means that we will be publishing our 2007 Family Album on Sunday, February 3, 2008, a week later than previously projected at Courrier Laval.

So, mothers and fathers, older brothers and sisters, grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, Godparents, neighbours and friends – no more excuses – if you know of a wonderful miracle that came to families of your acquaintance in 2007, don't hesitate to send us a little package of picture and information. Please include the following when sending us the package:

Newborn's full name, picture, and date of birth, along with the names of siblings, parents, grandparents, and great grandparents before Tuesday, January 29, 2008. We'll gladly share your good news with the world. Please also provide a daytime telephone number for verification and information purposes. If you wish, you can also include a short message to the child (about 25 words).
