City smacked with $5000 fine

Ville de Laval was imposed a $5000 fine last month for violation of standards set by the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks, with respect to its snow-dumping/storage practices on Dagenais Boulevard. Acreage and numerous other parameters for snow-dumping/storage activities are set down in a certificate of authorization issued by the Ministry for all sites of this nature in Quebec. (N.V.)
