A strong friendship has developed between Laval’s Gino Rosato and driver Kimi Räikkonen, a couple of racing enthusiasts who love to win, and who have proven they can. They're looking forward to another outstanding season with Ferrari in 2008.

Rosato not worried about changing of the guard at Ferrari Racing
For the second consecutive year, 2008 will be a season of change for the Ferrari Formula 1 Racing Team.
Just a year after Michael Schumacher’s retirement, it was Jean Todt’s turn to leave, replaced by Stefano Domenicali, promoted to the post of Sports Director in November of 2007.
Todt, during whose regime Schumacher won five world titles, moved up to executive director. The change hardly caused a flutter in Gino Rosato’s level of concern.
“Sure, we lost (in Todt) a most important piece of the puzzle, but we’ll have to roll up our sleeves and move on. We’ll continue to be competitive. We showed with Kimi (Räikkonen) and Felipe (Massa) that we’re strong and capable of winning,” maintained the part-time Laval resident who heads Team Ferrari’s logistics operations.
“Jean Todt brought Ferrari six builders and five drivers championships in 14 years. He built a great family. We’re going to work together to continue what he started,” Rosato explained to Courrier Laval.
Pursuit of excellence
Rosato believes Ferrari can win with Räikkonen and Massa at the controls in 2008. “We’re working hard towards ensuring success for Kimi and Felipe,” he said, adding that he’s actually looking forward to a return to action starting March 16, when he’ll begin once again to live out of a suitcase, at the Australian F1 Grand Prix. He’ll be home in Laval in early June when the F1 tour stops in Montreal for the Canadian Grand Prix. The Laval resident is under contract with Scuderia until 2009.
