New location for "Lifelong Learning"
Community invited to take a look at new adult ed facility
The Sir Wilfred Laurier School Board has opened a brand new adult education centre, the CDC Laurier Vimont on 2100 Boul. Des Laurentides.
The new centre welcomes students from all walks of life to their open house this week. Teachers and staff will be on hand to meet with the public and answer questions. With the evolving labour market more and more adults are in need of furthering their education and the centre has an array programs offered to cater to these needs. Adults looking to increase their knowledge can benefit from a Basic English Literacy program, complete their high school diploma or take French as a second language.
