100 new spots at Montmorency metro
Close to one year after its opening, the metro is a success. The parking lots at the Montmorency station are filling up constantly. The Laval mayor announced Tuesday the creation of 100 new spots on the streets around the station. At the same time he invited the Agence métropolitaine de Transport (AMT) to create the 1,458 extra spots forecasted in the original plans for a multi-level parking lot. This project is not in the cards, replied the AMT. Every construction of an interior parking lot costs at least $15,000. (N.V.)
