Patrick Carpantier’s No. 9 Dodge show car on display August 1
The Subway Restaurant outlet at 2600 Daniel-Johnson Boulevard, in Chomedey, will host a NASCA Show Event this coming Friday, August 1, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The star of the day will be Canadian race driver Patrick Carpantier’s No. 9 Subway Dodge Show car.
The Subway Restaurant chain is a primary sponsor of the Dodge car which will be driven by Carpantier at the NAPA Auto Parts 200 race in the NASCAR Nationwide Series when the cars take to the Gilles Villeneuve Track in Montreal, in early August.
In 2007, in the first NASCAR Nationwide Series event at the Villeneuve Circuit, veteran racer Carpantier qualified in the pole position for his first-ever NASCAR race.
Making an impressive NASCAR debut, Carpantier led for 14 laps before finally finishing second in the race.
The venue for the NASCAR show event, at 2600 Daniel-Johnson Boulevard in Chomedey, is located at the intersection of Daniel-Johnson Boulevard and Highway 440.
