Media and You series begins Monday, September 8, with a visit by Andrew Carter of CJAD. 7:00 pm, Young Israel of Chomedey Synagogue, 1025 Elizabeth, Chomedey. $40 ($50 for non-members) for series of four lectures, $12 ($15 for non-members) for individual sessions. Registrations for Italian Courses for children and adults (of Italian origin) begin Saturday, September 13, at 3200 Souvenir Blvd., 9:00 to noon. For western end of Laval, courses take place at Laval Liberty High School. This programssponsored by the Italian government is also available for eastern Laval, at St. Paul School and at Odyssey des Jeunes.
