Trade mission to United Arab Emirates
Véronique Proulx, director of International Affairs at Laval Technopole (CAILT) is in the process of completing preparations for a trade mission to the United Arab Emirates, scheduled for November 14 to 21, 2008.
Three Laval companies have already reserved a place on this business trip that will provide opportunities for networking at stops in Dubai and in the capital, Abu Dhabi. The three enterprises are Technologie 20-20, Orbi Métal, and Dynamat. The first company is recognized as the world's biggest creator of computer software design and computer-assisted sales, the second is renowned for its specialized design, production and installation of steel structures for metal architectural projects of a complex nature, while the third specializes in dynamiting technology.
These companies will be joined by four others based in the Laurentides and the Groupe Verrier Novatech, whose headquarters are in Saint-Julie.
The $7,385 charged for the trip includes flight, lodging, transportation and guides on site, a minimum of six individual meetings with targeted enterprises as well as networking activities organized by the Canada Export Development Corporation (CEDC) at the general quarters of the Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
