"Our aim has always been crystal clear – the orientation of young people toward artistic excellence - and our philosophy reflects our view that these young people's artistic excellence must serve as a springboard to making significant contributions to their communities in particular and society in general," Mr. De Souza told Courrier Laval in a recent interview, referring specifically to the beneficiaries of the funds raised by the fashion show.

"Yes, we want the young people to learn, enjoy, and revel in their learning experiences as organizers and performers, but we also want them to understand that their efforts must bear fruit for those in society who are not as fortunate as they are," says Mr. De Souza, listing the groups that will share most of the profits from the project – The Children's Wish Foundation, the Bon Dieu Dans La Rue organization, and the Canadian Breast Cancer Society. Some of the proceeds will also be used to help students and groups within the Laurier Senior High School Community.

In the meantime, the nearly 150 members of the cast and crew, led by an organizing committee of 13, are presently hard at work on a daily basis in preparation for the 2008 Laurier Senior High School Show With Fashion - Flawless

Flawless takes to the Laurier Senior High School stage in about a month – on Thursday, Friday and Saturday – November 20, 21, 22.
