Editor's note: With today's issue, Courrier Laval Bilingual Edition begins coverage of the 2008 Quebec Election campaign in Laval's five ridings (Chomedey, Fabre, Laval-des-Rapides, Mille Iles, Vimont). Starting with this issue and continuing with every issue until December 7, we will highlight the major candidates in each of the five ridings (short biographies, major proposals) accompanied by profiles of the riding and their territorial boundaries. As well, we will publish information from Elections Quebec concerning election procedures such as voting eligibility and advanced polling. We begin our coverage with the riding of Laval-des-Rapides.
