Coverage of Quebec Election campaign on Laval island

Editor's note: In today's issue, Courrier Laval Bilingual Edition publishes its third profile of candidates for the 2008 Quebec Election in Laval's 5 ridings (Chomedey, Fabre, Laval-des-Rapides, Mille Îles, Vimont). Our focus this week is the riding of Fabre. Until December 7, we will highlight the major candidates in each riding (short biographies, major proposals) accompanied by profiles of the ridings and their territorial boundaries. Please note that in keeping with our fairness policy, we are devoting equal space to each of the four major parties (Action Démocratique du Québec – ADQ; Liberal Party of Quebec - LPQ; Parti québécois - PQ; Québec solidaire - QS) whose candidates are vying for voter support. Please note that you have until Tuesday, Nov. 25 to get your name on the electoral list if it's not there yet. Advanced voting will be available Saturday, Nov. 30, and Monday, Dec. 1, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Two proofs of identification are required.
