Oops! Exsqueeze us, Gianfranco, we made a big boo boo!

Editor's note: In last week's Babies of the Year 2008 feature, the absolutely cute picture of little Gianfranco Di Stefano vanished into cyberspace before it could get into print. In its place, a beautiful bow appeared. Nice enough, but certainly not as beautiful as Gianfranco's angelic little mug. We deeply and sincerely regret the faux-pas and apologize profusely to Gianfranco and his entire family, especially parents Nadia and Dominic. For the record, we reprint Gianfranco's short biography and message from parents, and the splendid picture that should have appeared next to the text. Once more, we regret the error and ask for little Gianfranco's forgiveness. Maybe he'll send us his pardon in writing when he's old enough to read and write, which will probably be in just a few years.
