Seeking greater harmony through community contact
Laval Black Community Association will welcome suggestions for strategies and projects.
Although Black History Month 2009 has come to a successful conclusion, we all need to be reminded that Black History is a continuous living and learning experience which surrounds us on a daily basis, as does the history of other peoples everywhere, be it in our neighbourhoods, cities, provinces and states, nations, continents and the global village we call earth.
In keeping with the spirit of harmony, solidarity, and inclusion - the Laval Black Community Association invites ideas or suggestions for community projects and strategies that would promote the development of greater interaction between individuals and groups on Laval island throughout the year. If interested, join us in a discussion of 'future directions' in a meeting scheduled for Saturday, April 18, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, at 936 – 100th Avenue, in Chomedey, Laval.
Anyone interested in the progress of people in general and Black People in particular, is welcomed to this assembly. We are in search of positive directives that can allow us to work in togetherness and with the hope that new concepts of sharing, communicating, expressing and actualizing can be explored, to be adapted and adopted as soon as possible.
Before one attends the meeting “pre-registration” is required. To have that done, please telephone (450) 687-2176, or email alseees@yahoo.ca
