Tryouts coming up for both boys and girls soccer concentration programs

"To explore exciting opportunities in the classroom and on the pitch in the girl’s or boy’s high school soccer concentration programmes, come meet the coaches and find a spot on the roster," says an invitation from Laval Liberty High School to students from Laval Junior High School and other schools on Laval island as well.

"Soccer concentration combines sport with academics and citizenship. Students learn how to be leaders on and off of the field while pursuing academic excellence," points out Daniel Johnson, Behavioural Technician at Laval Liberty High School.

Mr. Johnson, who works closely with teachers, coaches, administrators, staff and students also notes that academic performance among boys in the Soccer Concentration Program at Liberty High is "up to nearly 83% this semester, and laying down a strong and long term framework for the next year and beyond."
